1978

Constitution of the company Irmãos Mota, Lda.

On July 4, 1978, the company Irmãos Mota Lda was created in Aguiar, Aguiar de Sousa.

1987

Belmiro Barbosa in the management team.

Belmiro Barbosa acquires a share in the company and becomes part of the management bodies.

1989

Change of social name.

As the only partner, Belmiro Barbosa changed its name to COBELBA Sociedade de Construção Civil Lda on June 8th.

2000

Appointment of the board of directors

On October 1st, the Board of Directors was appointed for the first time, which until date is in office: President – Filomena Barbosa, Members – Carlos Barbosa and Rui Barbosa.

2008

Change of logo and registered office.

On January 14th, COBELBA SA changed its logo and registered it with the National Institute of Industrial Property.

2009

Expansion and investment in the Real Estate market

On January 2nd, it created its Delegation in Lisbon, focusing on geographic expansion. On March 27, the company, under Spanish law, COBELBA Construcciones y Reformas, was created, beginning the internationalization process. With the intention of diversifying its activity and migrating risk, COBELBA SA on December 3rd invested in the Real Estate market, investing in the company Monte da Ervilha Residences – Real Estate Promotion, SA.

2013

Expansion with opening of a branch in France

On April 5th, reinforcing the international orientation of the business and diversifying its geographies, this time, in France, COBELBA SA invests in the company governed by French law, COBELBA Construction, SAS.
